Neuadd Wen is located in the hamlet of Red Wharf Bay which nestles on the shore of the 10 square mile bay on the east coast of Anglesey. One point on the bay can be reached with a five minute walk, but the main beach is at the end of a lovely but slightly longer walk, during which one is presented with an ever changing panorama as the tide colours the sands in front of the distant peaks of Snowdonia.

Red Wharf Bay is virtually mid way between the villages of Pentraeth and Benllech, on the A5025. Benllech is the larger and has an excellent beach, and many more shops and eating places than Pentraeth. Quiet parts of the bay can be reached from Pentraeth, but the bay actually extends as far as as Llandonna beach which is 6 miles by road from Pentraeth. Benllech beach can be reached from Red Wharf Bay by walking over the sands at low tide.
